We are hiring an experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer for our esteemed client via Fission Labs. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging, real-world AI/ML problems and contribute to impactful solutions. Unlike traditional backend development roles, this position is fully focused on AI/ML engineering - building intelligent systems, models, and scalable data-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) models for real-world use cases.

- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization for high performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with data scientists, product teams, and engineers to bring AI-powered solutions to production.

- Integrate AI/ML models into applications and services, ensuring robustness and low-latency inference.

- Stay up to date with state-of-the-art AI/ML research and apply innovative techniques to solve business problems.

- Drive best practices in AI/ML development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Required Skills :

- Strong programming experience in Python with expertise in ML/DL frameworks : TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.

- Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, and other data manipulation tools.

- Minimum 7 years of overall IT experience, with at least 4+ years in AI/ML engineering.

- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and mathematical foundations of ML.

- Proven expertise in one or more domains :

1. Natural Language Processing (NLP)

2. Computer Vision

3. Recommendation Systems

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related discipline.

Good to Have :

- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Prior experience in scaling AI/ML systems for enterprise-grade production.
