Role Overview :

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer specializing in Procurement and SAP Ariba, you will be at the forefront of transforming our procurement processes through cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning solutions. Your day-to-day will involve designing, developing, and deploying AI models to optimize sourcing, contract management, and supplier risk assessment within the SAP Ariba ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with procurement teams, data scientists, and SAP consultants to understand business needs and translate them into innovative AI-driven solutions. Your work will directly impact our organization's bottom line by improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing decision-making in procurement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement Machine Learning models for predictive analytics in procurement, enabling proactive decision-making and risk mitigation for procurement teams.

- Design and deploy AI-powered solutions for automating tasks within SAP Ariba, such as invoice processing, contract analysis, and supplier onboarding, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort for procurement operations.

- Build and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP Ariba and other relevant sources into data lakes or warehouses, ensuring data quality and accessibility for AI/ML model training and deployment for data science teams.

- Research and experiment with Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to enhance procurement processes, such as intelligent supplier recommendations and automated contract summarization, for procurement stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing SAP Ariba workflows and SAP BTP, ensuring seamless user experience and adoption for procurement users.

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed AI/ML models, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary updates to maintain accuracy and relevance for continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying Machine Learning models using Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, showcasing the ability to build and implement AI solutions.

- Strong understanding of SAP Ariba modules and procurement processes, coupled with the ability to integrate AI/ML solutions within the SAP Ariba ecosystem, highlighting functional knowledge and technical integration skills.

- Experience with SAP BTP and cloud-based AI/ML platforms, demonstrating the ability to leverage cloud technologies for scalable and efficient AI deployments.

- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering collaboration and understanding across teams.

- Solid foundation in Data Science principles, including data mining, statistical analysis, and model evaluation, enabling data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
