Senior AI Engineer - Python

Job Title : Senior AI Engineer.

Location : Pune.

Job Type : Full-Time.

Experience Required : 4 to 6 years.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development and deployment of scalable AI/ML applications with a focus on delivering business value.

- Guide and mentor a team of junior AI engineers, providing technical direction, code reviews and best practices in AI/ML development.

- Build, train, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and Hugging Face.

- Establish and maintain MLOps pipelines for continuous integration, deployment and monitoring of models in production.

- Drive research and adoption of the latest AI trends, including LLMs, RAG pipelines and generative AI applications, to ensure innovative and future-ready solutions.

- Ensure models are scalable, secure, and cost-optimized on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Requirements :

- Strong expertise in Python (must-have).

- Proven experience with ML/DL libraries (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, XGBoost, LightGBM).

- Demonstrated experience in leading teams/projects, with ownership of end-to-end solution delivery.

- Cloud expertise in AWS, Azure or GCP, including deployment of production-grade ML solutions.

- Solid understanding of data engineering workflows (data preprocessing, feature engineering, large-scale data pipelines).

- Strong SQL skills and experience handling large datasets.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or related field.

- Experience deploying and maintaining enterprise-grade AI applications.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to drive sprint-based execution.
