Senior AI Engineer

Role Overview :

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that drive significant business value. Your day-to-day will involve leading complex technical projects, architecting scalable AI systems, and diving deep into data to extract actionable insights.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers, acting as a technical mentor and thought leader. This role directly impacts our users by delivering intelligent features that enhance their experience and empowers our business with data-driven decision-making capabilities, ultimately shaping the future of our product offerings and market presence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance AI/ML models and systems for production deployment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for critical business applications.

- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of AI products, from research and prototyping to deployment and monitoring, delivering innovative solutions that meet strategic objectives.

- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team.

- Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into well-defined AI/ML technical requirements and solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

- Evaluate and integrate new AI technologies, frameworks, and tools, maintaining our technological edge and driving innovation across the platform.

- Conduct rigorous model validation, A/B testing, and performance tuning, optimizing AI solutions for accuracy, efficiency, and user satisfaction.

- Establish and promote best practices for MLOps, data governance, and ethical AI development, ensuring responsible and sustainable AI initiatives.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing, building, and deploying complex machine learning and deep learning models across various domains such as NLP, computer vision, or time-series analysis.

- Proficient in Python and its associated AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.

- Proven ability to architect and manage AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and MLOps pipelines.

- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of tackling ambiguous challenges and delivering innovative, data-driven solutions.

- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, capable of guiding technical teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- A Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field from a premier institution.
