About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale production-grade AI systems and intelligent agentic workflows. This role is ideal for engineers who combine strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in modern AI frameworks, LLM applications, and cloud-native backend systems.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and ML teams to develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance AI-driven applications that solve real business problems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered applications and agentic systems.

- Build and maintain multi-step AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies.

- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable backend services using Python and FastAPI.

- Implement and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, embeddings workflows, and vector database integrations.

- Build REST APIs and asynchronous services with strong attention to scalability and performance.

- Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production systems.

- Deploy and manage AI workloads on AWS infrastructure.

- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, CI/CD implementation, and engineering best practices.

- Monitor, debug, and improve the reliability and efficiency of AI systems in production environments.

Required Skills & Experience :

Software Engineering :

- 6+ years of overall software engineering experience.

- 45 years of strong, production-grade Python development experience.

- Strong understanding of :

1. Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

2. Async programming

3. Packaging and dependency management

4. Testing frameworks

5. Performance optimization

- Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable Python code.

AI & Agentic Frameworks :

- 1 to 1.5 years of hands-on experience building and shipping real-world AI/agentic systems in production.

- Strong experience with :

1. LangChain

2. LangGraph

3. CrewAI

4. AutoGen or similar agentic AI frameworks

- Experience building multi-agent, tool-calling, and workflow-driven AI systems.

ML & Data Concepts :

- Solid understanding of :

1. Embeddings

2. Vector databases

3. RAG architectures

4. Model lifecycle management

- Ability to collaborate effectively with data science and ML teams.

Backend Development :

- Strong expertise in FastAPI.

- Experience building performant REST APIs and asynchronous backend services.

- Good understanding of :

1. Dependency Injection

2. API design patterns

3. Async request handling

4. Microservices architecture

Cloud & DevOps :

- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as :

1. EC2

2. Lambda

3. S3

4. SageMaker or equivalent cloud-native services

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.

- Proficiency with GitHub, branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with LLM orchestration and prompt engineering.

- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools for AI systems.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience building scalable enterprise AI products.
