Role Overview :

The Senior Agentic AI Product Manager is a highly specialized technical leadership role requiring 8+ years of experience in technical/digital platforms product management, specifically focused on back-end systems with AI integration.

This role is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity, based in Bangalore (Hybrid), focusing on AI-driven solutions for decentralized clinical trials within the life sciences industry.

Mandatory experience includes a Deep understanding of the life sciences industry and its regulatory landscape, coupled with specific Project experience with Agentic AI.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables :

AI Product Strategy and Ownership (Agentic AI Focus) :

- Own features within the work stream and have complete accountability for the product, driving the strategic direction for back-end AI-driven solutions within decentralized clinical trials.

- Utilize mandatory Project experience with Agentic AI to define, build, and deploy autonomous AI agent systems that enhance clinical trial efficiency (e.g., data monitoring, protocol adherence).

- Provide independent feasibility estimates for complex technical features and accurately predict implications of decisions on technical debt.

Life Sciences Compliance and Regulatory :

- Demonstrate a Deep understanding of the life sciences industry and its products and services, including stringent regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).

- Anticipate compliance needs and proactively devise strategies to mitigate challenges that arise with product releases, accounting for the delivery, success, and regulatory submission of Medable products.

Product Lifecycle Management and Leadership :

- Leads discovery for all persons using the clinical trials platform for feature development, synthesizing user needs into clear, actionable requirements.

- Write clear, technical product specifications and user stories for back-end engineering teams focusing on AI/ML models, APIs, and data infrastructure.

- Anticipate and identify execution challenges with proposed plans, implementing necessary course corrections and risk mitigation strategies.

- Incorporate and coach peers and junior colleagues on best practices in product life cycle development, championing continuous improvement.

- Proactively prepare for the successful completion of each phase within the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) to ensure timely delivery.

Technical Communication and Design Representation :

- Represent visual and interaction rationale in conversation without the designers present, ensuring the user experience integrity is maintained through development.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 8+ years of experience in technical/digital platforms product management, back-end specifically with AI.

- Domain : MUST HAVE PHARMACEUTICAL/LIFE SCIENCE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE (regulatory requirements, market trends).

- AI Specialization : Project experience with Agentic AI.

- Logistics : Start Date ASAP; Hybrid in Bangalore.

Plusses (Preferred Skills) :

- Assisted in AI builds (hands-on development/implementation) before.

- Experience with decentralized clinical trial (DCT) platforms and technologies.

- Advanced understanding of MLOps and production deployment of AI models.

- Experience managing products with stringent GxP or patient data privacy compliance requirements.
