Senior AEM Content Operations Engineer :
We're partnering on a high-impact global initiative, and we're looking for a senior AEM expert who lives at the intersection of content operations and technical execution.
This is not an entry-level authoring role. We need someone who has owned enterprise AEM environments and can operate independently under tight deadlines.
What you'll do :
- Manage day-to-day publishing in AEM (On-Prem & Cloud) - authoring, templates, components, DAM, MSM/Launches, translations, and approvals
- Drive the global content lifecycle: intake, localization, governance, taxonomy, and SEO
- Plan and execute content migrations and geo-site launches with strong QA, accessibility (WCAG), and brand/legal compliance
- Build automation scripts to eliminate repetitive work (bulk updates, asset processing, localization) using JavaScript/Python and APIs
- Troubleshoot across author/publish tiers, replication, and dispatcher/CDN caching
- Report on throughput, quality, and SLA adherence to stakeholders and leadership
What you bring (non-negotiables) :
- 7+ years in web publishing with expert-level AEM experience (On-Prem & Cloud)
- Deep expertise in MSM & Translation Framework (Blueprints/Live Copies, rollout configs, TMS connectors, language roots)
- Strong localization & i18n/l10n background across global geo sites
- Automation/scripting is a must: JavaScript/Python, HTML/CSS, REST/GraphQL, CSV/JSON processing
- Experience with Adobe ecosystem (Dynamic Media, Workfront, Target, Query Builder) and basic AEM dev exposure (components, dialogs, clientlibs, Sling)
- Excellent communication and proven experience leading/guiding stakeholders
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to own outcomes end-to-end
Nice to have :
- Agile tooling (Jira/Confluence)
- Git/CI/CD
- AI publishing workflows
- Adobe AEM certifications
