Job Description : Senior Adobe AEM Developer

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AEM Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer with a strong foundation in AEM development, specializing in building and maintaining digital experiences.

You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable solutions on the Adobe Experience Manager platform. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and test AEM applications and components, including templates, pages, and dynamic content.

- Lead the development and debugging of AEM Forms and AEM Sites to deliver seamless digital experiences.

- Implement custom OSGi bundles and integrate AEM with various back-end systems and third-party APIs using RESTful services.

- Utilize and extend AEM foundational concepts, including Apache Sling and Apache Felix.

- Develop, configure, and integrate AEM components, dialogs, widgets, and workflows to meet business requirements.

- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers, ensuring adherence to AEM best practices and coding standards.

- Collaborate closely with project managers, solution architects, front-end developers, and content authors to translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Provide technical estimates for project efforts and assist in defining team roles and skills required for successful project delivery.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AEM, including performance, security, and scalability.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AEM development and debugging.

- Expertise in core web technologies including HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.

- Deep understanding of Java, J2EE, Servlets, and enterprise Java frameworks.

- Proficiency in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), specifically with HTL (Sightly) and AEM foundational concepts.

- Experience with Java Microservices and developing RESTful web services.

- Strong knowledge of the AEM architecture, including the Java Content Repository (JCR) and OSGi.

- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.

- Experience with build tools like Maven.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with AEM Forms development and debugging.

- Knowledge of other Adobe Marketing Cloud products such as Adobe Analytics, Target, or Campaign.

- Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- AEM Developer or Architect certification.
