Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.

- Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality software solutions.

- Develop robust RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

- Implement concurrency patterns using Goroutines and Channels to maximize application efficiency.

- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

- Write comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites.

- Create and maintain technical documentation using Godoc and other documentation standards.

- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong experience in Golang development.

- Deep understanding of Go language paradigms, constructs, and idioms.

- Expertise in Goroutines, Channels, and concurrent programming concepts.

- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.

- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Hands-on experience with Go dependency management tools such as Godep, Sltr, and Go Modules.

- Experience using Go templating language and code generation tools such as Stringer.

- Proficiency in popular Go frameworks such as Gin, Revel, Echo, or Fiber.

- Experience working with routing packages such as Gorilla Mux.

- Ability to write clear, maintainable, and effective Godoc documentation.

- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and experience writing unit and integration test cases.

- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.

- Understanding of application monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
