Job Overview :

We are seeking a Security Workflow Analyst to design, implement, and manage automated workflows that support security operations, access management, and business processes. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, IT, and security teams to ensure efficient workflow automation, strong access controls, and adherence to SLAs and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with workflow tools, SQL, security controls, and ticketing systems, along with a proactive approach to monitoring and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities & KRAs :

Workflow Design & Automation :

Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using triggers to :

- Send notifications

- Update records

- Support security and business processes

- Translate business requirements into technical workflow solutions.

- Develop and maintain workflows aligned with organizational security standards.

- Perform regression testing and validation of workflows after enhancements or fixes.

Workflow Operations & Monitoring :

- Monitor workflows on a day-to-day basis to ensure reliability and performance.

- Troubleshoot workflow failures and performance issues.

- Maintain workflow documentation, logic flows, and configuration details.

- Handle recurring operational tasks while ensuring SLA adherence.

Access Management & Security Administration :

- Manage access and security for multiple applications based on user roles and responsibilities.

- Assess access requests and:

- Grant

- Modify

- Revoke user permissions in a timely manner

- Perform periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies.

- Identify gaps in access controls and recommend improvements.

Security Controls & Risk Management :

- Identify potential security risks related to workflows, access, and automation processes.

- Implement preventive and corrective security controls.

- Support internal and external audits by providing reports, logs, and documentation.

- Assist in strengthening access governance and compliance processes.

Job Scheduling & Integration :

- Monitor, implement, and support scheduled jobs using job scheduling tools.

- Manage SFTP-based processes and file transfers.

- Generate operational and compliance reports related to workflows and scheduled jobs.

- Ensure reliable execution of batch jobs and integrations.

Support & Collaboration :

- Provide end-user and operational support for applications and workflows.

- Work closely with business users, security teams, and IT teams to resolve issues.

- Participate in requirements gathering, impact analysis, and solution design discussions.

- Maintain clear documentation for workflows, access processes, and security controls.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in workflow automation and process orchestration

- Hands-on experience with SQL, database triggers, and data analysis

- Knowledge of:

- Workflow tools

- Job scheduling tools

- Process automation platforms

- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems

- Familiarity with code repositories such as GitHub, Stash, or Bitbucket

Experience in :

- Monitoring

- Troubleshooting

- Software testing and patch testing

Security & Compliance Knowledge :

- Understanding of access management, role-based access control (RBAC), and security audits

- Experience in conducting access reviews and compliance checks

- Awareness of security best practices and risk mitigation techniques
