Description :
The SSE Engineer will be responsible for providing first-level support for issues related to Security Service Edge (SSE) solutions such as Netskope, ZTNA, NG-SWG, CASB, DLP, and remote access security.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor Netskope SSE dashboards, alerts, logs, and system performance.
- Perform initial troubleshooting & triage for SSE service issues (CASB / SWG / ZTNA / DLP / FWaaS).
- Resolve user connectivity issues related to cloud proxy, private access, and secure web gateway.
- Troubleshoot policies, authentication failures, agent installation and configuration issues.
- Assist users in Netskope Client/Agent deployment and policy enforcement.
- Document incidents, steps taken, and resolution in ITSM tools (ServiceNow / JIRA).
- Perform basic policy changes, rule modifications, and test configurations after approval.
- Support onboarding of new users, endpoints, and applications.
- Track issues to closure within SLA and ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
- 1- 3 years of experience in IT Security / Network Security / Security Support
Basic knowledge of :
- SSE / SASE concepts
- Cloud Proxy, VPN, Zero Trust, ZTNA
- HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, certificate troubleshooting
- Identity & access controls (AD / Azure AD / SSO / SAML)
- Basic networking & firewall rules
- Experience with security tools : Netskope (preferred), Zscaler / Prisma Access / Broadcom / Forcepoint etc.
- Familiar with endpoint OS (Windows/Mac), browser proxy settings, user authentication logs
- Good communication, documentation, and customer handling skills
