Security-Based AI Engineer

Job Term : 6 months Contract to Hire

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and consultative Security-Based AI Engineer to drive the development and deployment of intelligent automation agents focused on enhancing enterprise security and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will combine deep, hands-on technical expertise in Python, REST APIs, and Large Language Model (LLM)-based agent frameworks with strong consultative experience (e.g., from Big 4 firms or similar consultancies). This critical role involves building, implementing, and securing agents for automated compliance, inventory, logging, and workflow management within a security context.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus :

EIQ Agent Automation Development :

- Design, develop, and implement complex automation agents utilizing Python, interacting with enterprise systems via REST APIs, and leveraging GPT-based agent frameworks for intelligent decision-making and execution.

- Lead the hands-on technical build of specific security and operational agents, including but not limited to :

Audit-Readiness Agent : Automating the collection and validation of data required for security and compliance audits.

Asset-Inventory Agent : Building continuous, automated discovery and correlation of IT/Security asset data across disparate systems.

Log Ingestion & Correlation Agent : Implementing automated processes for normalizing, enriching, and correlating security logs from various sources.

Ticket/Workflow Agent (ServiceNow) : Creating intelligent agents to automatically triage, prioritize, and initiate resolution workflows within ServiceNow.

OT Observability Agent : Developing agents focused on monitoring and generating insights from Operational Technology (OT) environments.

Security and Deployment :

- Implement robust encryption strategies for sensitive data, including encryption for prompts and agent titles, utilizing algorithms like AES-256 in conjunction with key management services.

- Integrate security features using cloud services such as Azure Key Vault and other Key Management Services (KMS) for secure secret and key storage.

- Support the secure and scalable deployment of all developed agents and related services to the client's Azure SaaS tenant.

Technical Stack Implementation :

- Utilize the Azure Serverless Stack extensively, including development and deployment using Azure Functions for event-driven processing and Azure Logic Apps for workflow orchestration.

- Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance Python code for agent logic and API integrations.

Consultative and Collaborative Approach :

- Act as a technical consultant, understanding complex business and security requirements and translating them into tangible, automated agent solutions.

- Collaborate effectively with internal security, engineering, and platform teams to ensure seamless integration and operational adoption of the automation agents.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience (5+ years) in a highly technical and consultative role, ideally gained at a Big 4 consulting firm, Accenture, or similar system integration consultancy.

- Expertise in Python programming, specifically for developing backend services, APIs, and automation scripts.

- Strong hands-on experience developing and integrating with GPT-based agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen) or similar LLM orchestration tools.

- Deep knowledge and practical experience with the Azure Serverless Stack, particularly Azure Functions and Logic Apps.

- Demonstrated experience implementing robust security protocols, including data encryption (AES-256), and managing secrets via Azure Key Vault or KMS.

- Prior experience integrating with enterprise platforms for security or workflow management (e.g., ServiceNow, SIEM/SOAR platforms).

- Strong preference for candidates with short or immediate notice periods.
