Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities :

- Support the onboarding of applications and maintain the application pipeline with a focus on security requirements.

- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to assess, document, and implement application security controls.

- Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify trends, risks, and compliance gaps; strong Excel skills required.

- Ensure applications adhere to cybersecurity standards, risk, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.

- Contribute to the development of secure architecture frameworks and best practices.

- Work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams to deliver on security initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst / Security Analyst in the cybersecurity domain (application security preferred).

- Hands-on experience with application onboarding and managing application pipelines.

- Strong data analysis skills with advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards).

- Good understanding of risk management, compliance frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.

- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to enterprise security tools, frameworks, and application security testing processes.

- Experience in large-scale IT transformation or cybersecurity strategy projects.

- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, cloud security, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
