Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain secure, compliant middleware components and integration services using C# (.NET) and JavaScript, enabling reliable data exchange between internal healthcare systems and external/third-party platforms.

- Build and support RESTful APIs, gRPC, GraphQL services, and event-driven/message-based integrations using technologies such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka, with a strong focus on data integrity, traceability, and fault tolerance.

- Apply AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or other enterprise-approved/regulated AI platforms) across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)including design assistance, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and refactoring, while complying with AI governance and data privacy requirements.

- Actively participate in product sustenance and stabilization activities, including defect analysis, root cause investigations, performance tuning, and preventive improvements to production systems (experience in L2/L3/L4 support models is a strong advantage).

- Monitor, debug, and optimize middleware pipelines across environments to ensure high availability, predictable performance, robust error handling, and regulatory readiness.

- Produce and maintain clear, auditable technical documentation, including API contracts, integration flows, ICDs, system dependencies, and design rationales, to support validation, audits, and long-term maintainability.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, QA/V&V, DevOps, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure solutions meet business needs, regulatory expectations, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4- 6 years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably in middleware, integrations, or platform services within regulated or enterprise environments.

- Strong proficiency in C# (.NET) and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of secure coding practices and distributed system design.

- Proven experience designing and consuming APIs and working with asynchronous messaging/event-driven architectures.

- Mandatory experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or equivalent regulated AI tools) responsibly to improve productivity and code quality.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and release management practices in regulated settings.

Good to Have :

- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, or other regulated domains (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304, HIPAA, GDPR awareness).

- Exposure to HL7, FHIR, DICOM, or healthcare interoperability standards.

- Experience working on validated systems, formal verification (V&V), or audit-driven delivery models.

- Strong understanding of observability, logging, and incident management in production systems.

What We Value :

- A quality-first mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

- Comfort working in high-reliability, compliance-driven environments.

- Ability to balance delivery speed with regulatory rigor.

- Curiosity and openness to leverage AI responsibly to enhance engineering outcomes.
