The individual will work closely with cross-functional project teams across global business units.

The role involves leading medium- to high-complexity breakthrough software development projects including new feature implementations and existing product enhancements. This position combines the strategic oversight of Program Management with hands-on Agile/Scrum facilitation. The individual will also play a vital role in growing business engagements, driving process excellence, and enabling value creation through continuous improvement and best-practice adoption.

As a seasoned Scrum Master with Program/Project Management expertise, you will :

- Act as a project leader, driving end-to-end execution, ownership, and accountability across all project phases.

- Develop, implement, and track comprehensive project and engagement plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives), ensuring alignment with business and technical priorities.

- Partner with Product Owners, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery in compliance with SDLC, release, and regulatory requirements.

- Coach teams to mature in Agile practices while integrating key engineering principles coding standards, automated testing, CI/CD, and design best practices.

- Use data-driven metrics (velocity, burndown/burnup charts, defect trends) to assess team performance, identify improvement areas, and optimize delivery efficiency.

- Anticipate and remove organizational and technical impediments, escalating effectively when necessary.

- Foster a transparent, high-performance culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Define project resource needs, work closely with functional managers for staffing and allocation, and ensure optimal utilization.

- Track and report project status, dependencies, and risks to all stakeholders, ensuring proactive communication and decision-making.

- Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.

- Maintain project artifacts, including Design History Files, compliance documentation, and communication records in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

- Support leadership and steering committee reviews with clear and concise progress reports, KPIs, and actionable insights.

- Serve as a change agent challenging teams to improve delivery predictability, cross-team alignment, and technical excellence.

Must Have Minimum Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field

- PMP Certification and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM or equivalent)

- 15+ years of professional experience, with at least 5+ years in project or program leadership roles

- Proven, hands-on Agile/Scrum experience driving enterprise-level or product-based software initiatives

- Strong technical understanding of software development practices, preferably in enterprise or mobile application development

- Demonstrated ability to manage global, cross-functional teams and complex project portfolios

Nice to Have Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in regulated environments with exposure to standards such as FDA Quality System Regulations (820.30), ISO 13485, and IEC 62304

- Expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and scope management for multi-phase initiatives

- Working knowledge of Agile metrics burnup/burndown charts, sprint velocity, release forecasting, and user story management

- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, or similar platforms

- Experience with hybrid delivery models combining Agile and Waterfall or SDLC frameworks

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to influence without authority

- Proven experience managing multi-site, culturally diverse teams

- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills under pressure

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and data visualization/reporting tools

- Experience in process improvement initiatives, Agile transformation, or PMO governance is an added advantage

- Knowledge of medical devices, healthcare, or safety-critical software is a strong plus
