Scrum Master - Agile Methodology

Key Responsibilities :

- Practices the core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and practices continuous improvement.

- Facilitates sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives

- Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint / release progress

- Provide status reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), schedule, resources, and milestone delivery

- Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and Agile best practices.

- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Remove impediments to team progress and drive continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

- Ensure alignment of Agile processes with organizational goals and project objectives.

- Track and manage Agile metrics to drive data-driven decision-making.

- Promote Agile adoption and mentor team members on Agile methodologies.

- Address and resolve conflicts, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

- Ensure the team is focused, engaged, and delivering value efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.

- Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.

- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict-resolution skills.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

- Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies.

- Work as an agile coach to help train/advise various teams on agile methodology

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION :

- Four-year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- PMP certification preferably
