Scrum Master - Agile Methodologies

About the Role :

We are seeking a Scrum Master to guide and support our agile product development teams.

The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring effective application of Scrum practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enabling teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as a servant leader and coach for product development teams, helping them embrace and apply agile principles.

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).

- Work closely with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy product backlog and ensure clarity of requirements.

- Identify and remove impediments that block the teams progress.

- Protect the team from external interruptions and maintain focus on sprint goals.

- Track and report on team performance metrics (velocity, burndown charts, sprint progress).

- Foster collaboration and communication across teams, stakeholders, and leadership.

- Encourage continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing process enhancements.

- Support the team in maintaining high standards of product quality and delivery timelines.

- Coach stakeholders and leaders on agile best practices to align with organizational goals.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent certification.

- 3 to 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a product development environment.

- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

- Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

- Hands-on experience with agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Rally).

- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and product lifecycle management is a plus.
