We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Senior Scrum Master & Agile Delivery Lead to guide, coach, and enable our development teams in Hyderabad. This is a senior-level role requiring significant expertise in servant-leadership, robust agile practices, and enterprise-level reporting. The Lead will be pivotal in ensuring the team maximizes value delivery, adheres to Scrum principles, and proactively manages impediments. The successful candidate will drive the planning and execution of all scrum events and maintain strong communication with management, particularly regarding project risks and delivery health.

Core Responsibilities

Agile Leadership and Coaching :

- Serve as the Servant-Leader for one or more highly visible, cross-functional Scrum teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies effectively (e.g., Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Sprint Reviews).

- Coach the development team and the Product Owner on Scrum principles, agile values, and self-organization to maximize productivity and efficiency.

- Actively identify and proactively escalate risks and clearly communicate blockers and dependencies to relevant stakeholders and management with a sense of urgency.

Delivery Management and Reporting :

- Maintain strong reporting capabilities at the management level, preparing and presenting clear, data-driven reports on team performance, burn-down/up charts, velocity trends, and overall project health.

- Ensure the timely and high-quality planning and execution of successful scrum events, driving clear outcomes and action items from each meeting.

- Oversee the continuous refinement and maintenance of the product and sprint backlogs in collaboration with the Product Owner.

Process Improvement and Impediment Removal :

- Remove impediments and manage risks that hinder the teams progress, escalating those that are outside the teams control to appropriate organizational channels.

- Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the team by encouraging open dialogue, analyzing metrics from retrospectives, and implementing actionable improvements to the development process.

- Ensure the team is fully capable of meeting definition of done (DoD) criteria and maintaining a sustainable pace of work.

Required Qualifications :

Experience : 8- 10 years of overall professional experience, including a minimum of 34 years directly managing and serving as the dedicated Scrum Master for multiple high-performing agile development teams.

Certification : Must possess a current, recognized certification : Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or SAFe Agilist (SA) is required.

Communication and Reporting : Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to summarize complex technical information into concise, strategic reports for executive-level management.

Agile Proficiency : Deep practical understanding of Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) and experience working within a large, distributed enterprise environment.

Proactive Mindset : Demonstrated ability to be highly proactive in risk management, impediment resolution, and clear, transparent communication.

Preferred Skills :

Financial Industry Experience : Prior professional experience working within the financial industry or highly regulated enterprise environments is a significant plus.

Tool Proficiency : Expertise in utilizing industry-standard Agile Management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), or Confluence for reporting and project tracking.

Technical Acumen : Foundational understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technology concepts to effectively challenge assumptions and support the engineering team.

Contract/Duration : Ability to commit to a minimum 6+ Months duration with potential for long-term annual extension.
