Scatterlink is building the future of industrial visibility - connecting physical assets in mining and heavy industry to the digital world using IoT, RFID, and real-time data infrastructure. We are looking for a Principal / Staff Software Engineer who is hands-on, backend-heavy, and excited to build complex systems from scratch.

What You'll Work On :

- Architect and develop backend systems using TypeScript, Python, or Golang

- Support front-end work (ReactJS in web and react-native offline first mobile app)

- Build and scale AWS-based microservices (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, SQS, DynamoDB/PostgreSQL, etc.)

- Lead ERP integration work :

1. Data modelling

2. Integration patterns (OData, custom APIs, middleware service layers)

3. Sync engines, idempotency, offline-first logic

- Design robust middle-ware for syncing RFID-captured inventory data into ERP systems

- Set engineering standards, code quality, and system design foundations for the team

- Mentor and guide junior engineers (without needing to be a manager)

Who Were Looking For :

- 8- 12+ years of backend experience (extremely strong coding + architecture fundamentals)

- Deep experience with cloud-native microservices (AWS preferred)

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, queues, message brokers, caching

- Experience integrating with large ERP systems (D365 F&O, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

- Comfortable in fast-paced startup environment - building, iterating, improving

- Hands-on builder mentality - no pure managers
