We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Team Lead AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions.

This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, requiring deep expertise in machine learning, AI systems, and scalable production deployments.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Architecture :

- Select appropriate models, frameworks, and tools based on business use cases

- Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and security of AI systems in production

- Review code, models, and pipelines to maintain high engineering standards

Model Development & Deployment :

- Build, train, evaluate, and optimize ML/DL models for real-world applications

- Work with structured and unstructured data (text, images, audio, time-series)

- Implement model deployment pipelines using MLOps best practices

- Monitor model performance, drift, and accuracy post-deployment

Team Leadership & Mentorship :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists

- Allocate tasks, conduct reviews, and support team growth and skill development

- Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and business stakeholders

- Translate business problems into AI-driven solutions

- Support pre-sales, solution design discussions, and technical presentations

Required Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)

- Experience with NLP, Computer Vision, or Recommendation Systems

- Strong knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation

- Experience deploying models using REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes

- Hands-on experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

MLOps & Engineering Skills :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for ML

- Knowledge of model versioning, monitoring, and drift detection

- Familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, or similar tools

- Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases
