Job Description :

Technical Responsibilities :

Camera & Audio Bring-Up (HAL & Drivers) :

- Lead the hardware bring-up activities for Camera and Audio peripherals on new silicon platforms.

- Develop, modify, and debug Camera HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and Camera 2 API implementations.

- Handle Camera Tuning and interface with image sensors utilizing V4L2 (Video4Linux) frameworks.

- Configure and optimize the Android Audio architecture, including Audio HAL, Audio Flinger, and the ALSA Framework.

Technical Skill Requirements :

Core Requirements (Mandatory) :

- Languages : Strong proficiency in C, C++, Java, and core Data Structures & Algorithms.

- OS Architecture : In-depth knowledge of the Android OS internal architecture (specifically native daemons, HAL, and drivers).

- Multimedia Domain : Proven experience working on Android Media frameworks, including Stagefright, Audio Flinger, OMX, and ALSA.

- Protocols & Drivers : Working knowledge of streaming protocols (RTP/RTSP) and Linux media frameworks (V4L2).

Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred) :

- Codecs & Signal Processing : Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and hardware accelerated Audio/Video codecs (H.264, H.265, AAC, etc.)

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
