Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks and processes to ensure compliance with banking standards and regulations.

- Develop, optimize, and maintain SAS programs using Base SAS, Advanced SAS, SAS arrays, macros, PROC functions, and the retain function.

- Perform data analysis to generate insights, support decision-making, and enhance business outcomes.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

- Document and track data-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

- Partner with data engineering and business teams to strengthen reporting, analytics, and governance KPIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAS (Base SAS, Advanced SAS, arrays, macros, PROC functions, retain function).

- Proven experience in the banking / financial services domain.

- Strong expertise in data analytics, reporting, and visualization.

- Solid understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and industry best practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Immediate Joiners or 30 days notice period is preferred.

- SAS experience is mandatory.

- Good experience in SAS like SAS Base, SAS Advance, SAS proc, SAS arrays, SAS Macros, basic string functions, difference between PROC Means and Univariate, Percentile, Types of macros, advanced function of SAS like proc summary, proc means etc), proc univariate, How to use different types of Macros, Retain functions and its uses.

- Minimum experience 3+ years.
