Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Cypress Automation Tester with strong expertise in Cypress, Playwright, JavaScript, and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, validating application functionality, and ensuring high-quality software releases. Experience working in a Product organization, preferably within the MedTech or Healthcare domain, will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation test scripts using Cypress and Playwright.

- Develop reusable and scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript.

- Create and execute automated test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and automation scripts.

- Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.

- Execute automated test suites, analyse results, and provide detailed test reports.

- Perform cross-browser and application compatibility testing.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.

- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and execution efficiency.

- Contribute to QA best practices, automation strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Support testing activities in an Agile/Scrum product development environment.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress Automation and Cypress Testing.

- Good experience with Playwright Automation.

- Strong programming and scripting skills in JavaScript.

- Solid understanding of Automation Testing methodologies and QA processes.

- Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications.

- Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Experience with defect tracking, test management, and CI/CD tools.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience working in a Product-based organization is preferred.

- Experience in the MedTech - Healthcare domain is an added advantage.
