Job Summary :

- We are seeking an experienced SAP WM / EWM / MM Consultant with strong exposure to warehouse operations and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in inbound and outbound logistics, customer operations, and production support environments. This role requires close collaboration with business users, warehouse teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure smooth system operations, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities :

SAP Warehouse & Logistics Operations :

Provide end-to-end functional support for SAP WM, SAP EWM, and SAP MM modules with a strong focus on :

- Inbound processing (GR, putaway, staging, quality checks)

- Outbound processing (picking, packing, loading, PGI)

- Stock transfers, internal movements, cycle counting, and physical inventory

- Customer order fulfillment and returns processing

- Understand and support end-to-end warehouse and distribution processes, ensuring alignment between

system configuration and real-time business operations.

- Production Support & Incident Management

Handle L2/L3 production support activities including :

- Incident analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution

- Root cause analysis for recurring issues

- Managing critical production incidents and business escalations

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (ABAP, BASIS, MM, SD, EWM, infrastructure) for faster resolution of complex issues.

Follow ITIL-based processes for :

- Incident Management

- Problem Management

- Change Management (impact analysis, testing support, transport coordination)

- Integration & Process Knowledge

Work on integration points between :

- SAP WM / SAP EWM and SAP ERP (MM, SD, PP)

- External warehouse systems and automation tools

Support and monitor interfaces related to :

- IDocs

- RFCs

- Middleware integrations (if applicable)

- Warehouse Automation & Technology

Support systems involving :

- Barcode scanning

- RFID

- Automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS)

- Robotics and conveyor-based warehouse solutions

- Troubleshoot integration and process issues related to automated warehouse operations.

- Technical & Debugging Support

Perform functional debugging to analyze issues in :

- Warehouse tasks

- Delivery processing

- Inventory discrepancies

- IDoc failures and data inconsistencies

- Work closely with ABAP developers to explain functional requirements and validate technical fixes.

- Stakeholder Management & Communication

Act as a key point of contact for :

- Warehouse operations teams

- Business users

- IT support teams

- Project managers

- Provide clear communication during incidents, outages, and system changes.

- Conduct user training, prepare functional documentation, and support UAT when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

4+ years of hands-on experience in :

- SAP WM

- SAP EWM

- SAP MM

Strong knowledge of :

- Warehouse management processes

- Supply chain and distribution operations

- SAP ERP integration with warehouse modules

- Experience working in support/operations environments

Good understanding of :

- SAP core modules (MM, SD, WM)

- ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)

- Exposure to warehouse automation technologies (RFID, barcode, robotics)

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Criteria :

- Immediate joiners or candidates with notice period ? 15 days

- Experience in large-scale warehouse or distribution environments

- Exposure to global support projects or 24x7 operations
