SAP WM Consultant - MM/SD Modules

Key Responsibilities :

SAP WM Configuration & Implementation :

- Lead the configuration of warehouse structure in SAP WM, including defining storage types, storage sections, storage bins, and other organizational units.

- Implement and optimize inbound and outbound logistics processes within SAP WM, ensuring efficient material flow.

- Ensure seamless integration of inventory management processes (IM) with WM.

- Configure and manage the execution of stock transfers and transfer orders.

- Design and implement effective putaway and picking strategies to optimize warehouse operations.

- Manage and support physical inventory processes within the warehouse.

Advanced WM Functionalities :

- Work extensively with Handling Unit Management (HUM) for advanced packaging and logistics.

- Set up and configure label printing solutions and RF (Radio Frequency) integration for mobile warehouse operations.

Integration & Technical Understanding :

- Ensure robust integration with MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales & Distribution) modules to support end-to-end supply chain processes.

- Possess strong familiarity with SAP WM tables and reporting capabilities.

- Perform customization using SPRO (SAP Project Reference Object) effectively.

Problem-Solving & Support :

- Provide expert functional support and troubleshoot issues related to SAP WM processes.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP WM solutions.

Mandatory Skills :

- SAP WM Core: Strong expertise in Configuration of warehouse structure in SAP WM.

- Logistics Processes: Expertise in inbound and outbound logistics processes.

- Inventory Integration: Integration of inventory management processes.

- Transactions: Proficiency in execution of stock transfers and transfer orders.

- Strategies: Implementation of putaway and picking strategies.

- Inventory Management: Management of physical inventory processes.

- Handling Units: Hands-on experience with Handling Unit Management (HUM).

- Technical Familiarity: Familiarity with SAP WM tables and reporting.

- Customization: Proficiency in Customization using SPRO.

- RF & Printing: Setup of label printing and RF (Radio Frequency) integration.

- Module Integration: Strong integration knowledge with MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales & Distribution) modules.

- SAP EWM (Plus): Basic understanding of SAP EWM is a plus.
