About the Role :
Insight Global is seeking an experienced SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Consultant to support configuration, enhancement, and optimization initiatives within a dynamic SAP environment. In this role, you will work closely with a senior SAP WM consultant and collaborate with the development team to deliver effective warehouse management solutions. You will be responsible for determining whether business requirements can be addressed through SAP WM configuration or require custom ABAP development, while ensuring compliance with Quality and Logistics processes.
This role requires strong technical expertise in SAP WM, the ability to navigate compliance workflows, and experience working in regulated environments such as GMP and GDP.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure and enhance SAP Warehouse Management (WM) solutions to meet business requirements.
- Analyze functional requirements and determine appropriate solutions using standard SAP configuration or custom ABAP development.
- Collaborate closely with senior consultants and the development team to design and deliver WM enhancements.
- Support warehouse management projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and integrations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Quality and Logistics compliance processes.
- Learn, apply, and follow AQM requirements and obtain necessary approvals from Logistics Management (LM).
- Support integration with related SAP modules including MM, SD, QM, EWM, and other logistics components.
- Participate in intercompany, import, and export process implementations.
- Assist with 3PL/LSP integrations where applicable.
- Provide functional support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in production and non-production environments.
- Prepare and maintain functional specifications, test scripts, and documentation.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory standards and internal quality policies.
- Manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP WM configuration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and industry best practices.
- Proven experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
- Working knowledge of SAP MM, WM, and EWM modules.
- Experience with intercompany, import, and export processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :
- Experience with SAP SD, QM, GTS (Global Trade Services), MDG, and ATTP.
- Knowledge of 3PL/LSP integrations.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a clear understanding of batch management.
- Hands-on experience working in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) regulated environments.
- Exposure to compliance-driven SAP implementations.
