Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled SAP Fiori Consultant / SAPUI5 Developer with 4-6 years of strong development and customer-interaction experience.

The candidate will be responsible for enabling standard Fiori applications, building custom Fiori apps, collaborating closely with functional teams, and working directly with business users to gather requirements and deliver high-quality, responsive SAP Fiori solutions.

This role requires hands-on expertise in SAPUI5, OData, SAP Gateway, and S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Customer Interaction & Requirement Analysis

- Work directly with customers and functional teams to understand business processes and user requirements.

- Conduct requirement workshops, demos, process discussions, and fit-gap analysis sessions.

- Assess which standard Fiori apps can be used and identify areas requiring custom Fiori development.

- Prepare documentation including requirement specifications, assessments, feasibility analysis, and solution proposals.

- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.

2. Fiori App Design, Development & Deployment

- Design and develop responsive, intuitive SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

- Enhance or extend standard Fiori applications to meet business-specific needs.

- Integrate applications with backend systems by consuming OData services, CDS views, and SAP Gateway components.

- Take ownership of the full lifecycle: development ? testing ? transport ? production deployment.

- Troubleshoot issues related to launchpad configuration, catalogs, OData errors, and performance.

- Work closely with ABAP, BASIS, and functional teams (MM/PP/SD/PM/FI) for end-to-end delivery.

3. Standard App Activation & Custom App Roadmap

- Perform a detailed system assessment with the customer to identify relevant standard Fiori apps.

- Activate and configure standard apps, including catalog setup, roles, groups/spaces, and testing.

- Develop custom apps based on business gaps identified during the assessment phase.

- Collaborate with users to validate UI/UX, conduct UAT support, provide training, and ensure smooth go-live.

- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project.

Required Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience in SAPUI5/OpenUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.

- Experience with Fiori Elements, Smart Controls, XML views, annotations.

- Strong knowledge of OData services, SAP Gateway, CDS views.

- Experience activating and configuring standard Fiori apps in SAP S/4HANA.

- Ability to debug frontend and backend issues related to UI, OData, and performance.

- Experience working in agile or fast-paced project environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of MM/PP/SD/PM/FI functional processes.

- Experience designing responsive and user-friendly screens for mobile/tablet/desktop.

- Experience coordinating with customers or working in onsite-style roles.

- SAP Fiori/UI5 certification (preferred but not mandatory).
