About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAP Tester specializing in S/4HANA for Retail with strong expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Inventory Management (IM). The role involves end-to-end functional testing, validation, and ensuring system reliability for procure-to-pay (P2P) flows, GR/IR processes, and retail-specific transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Validate GR/IR reconciliation, invoice postings, and exception handling in AP & Inventory processes.

- Test procure-to-pay (P2P) flows, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, and vendor payments.

- Perform backend validation of SAP tables such as MSEG, BSEG, and MARA to ensure accurate reconciliation and transaction logic.

- Execute and validate test cases for batch jobs, document types, workflows, and pricing configurations.

- Conduct system integration testing for retail-specific flows like DC-to-store deliveries, stock transfers, and site-based rules.

- Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation checks for financial and inventory data.

- Track, manage, and document defects using test management tools (JIRA, Rally, HP ALM, etc.).

- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure end-to-end testing coverage.

- Ensure timely execution of test cycles with high quality and accuracy.

- Follow best practices in defect reporting, traceability, and regression testing

Required Skillset :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA for Retail, specifically in Accounts Payable and Inventory Management.

- In-depth understanding of P2P flows, GR/IR accounts, invoice processing, and vendor management.

- Strong knowledge of SAP table structures (MSEG, BSEG, MARA, BKPF, EKPO, EKBE, etc.).

- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and reconciliation.

- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Rally, HP ALM, or equivalent).

- Good understanding of batch jobs, workflows, document types, and retail pricing logic.

- Familiarity with retail supply chain flows like stock transfers, distribution center (DC) to store deliveries, and site-specific rules.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
