Role Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing initiatives for large-scale SAP/ERP programs. The role requires strong leadership in test strategy, automation, risk management, and stakeholder coordination to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery across SAP implementations and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and own the overall Test Strategy, Test Approach, and Test Plans for SAP/ERP programs.

- Establish standardized testing processes, methodologies, and quality metrics across projects.

- Ensure testing aligns with business requirements, SAP best practices, and compliance standards.

- Oversee end-to-end test execution including Unit, System, Integration, UAT, Regression, and Automation testing.

- Review and validate test cases, test scripts, and execution results.

- Ensure complete and accurate documentation of test outcomes, sign-offs, and reports.

- Drive test automation strategy using tools such as UFT and other automation frameworks.

- Oversee test management and defect tracking using ALM or equivalent tools.

- Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency through automation and tooling enhancements.

- Manage defect lifecycle including logging, tracking, prioritization, retesting, and closure.

- Identify testing-related risks early; perform impact analysis and implement mitigation plans.

- Track corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring defects.

- Lead and mentor test teams across onshore/offshore models.

- Act as the primary testing liaison between business stakeholders, developers, functional teams, and leadership.

- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and quality metrics to senior management.

- Manage testing activities for SAP/ERP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.

- Ensure integration testing across SAP modules and third-party systems.

- Support UAT cycles with business users and ensure readiness for go-live.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of overall testing experience with proven Test Manager / Test Lead experience.

- Strong experience managing SAP / ERP testing programs.

Expertise in :

- Test Strategy & Test Planning

- Test Automation and Tools

- Defect Management and Quality Governance

Hands-on experience with :

- ALM

- UFT

- Any automation testing frameworks/tools

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience working in complex, large-scale enterprise environments.
