About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced SAP Techno-Functional Consultant FICO to manage both functional and technical aspects of SAPs Finance & Controlling (FICO) module.
This role requires strong domain knowledge in finance processes, hands-on SAP configuration skills, and the ability to perform technical customizations, ABAP debugging, and integrations.
The ideal candidate will work closely with finance, IT, and development teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions that support business requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Gather requirements from business users and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, COPA).
- Perform ABAP debugging to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers for enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms.
- Integrate FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and external systems.
- Support end-to-end project activities including blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
- Develop functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user training sessions.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, and apply SAP OSS notes as needed.
Required Skills & Experience :
Education : Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
- 58 years of experience in SAP FICO with both functional and technical exposure.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and controlling processes.
- Hands-on SAP configuration in FICO submodules and experience in integration with MM/SD.
- Proficiency in ABAP debugging and technical issue resolution.
- Experience with data migration tools (LSMW, BAPIs, IDOCs).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance.
- Knowledge of Fiori apps for FICO.
- SAP certification in FICO.
- Experience in working with multi-country rollouts and localization.
