SAP Techno-Functional Consultant - FICO Module

Job Summary :

We are looking for a seasoned SAP Techno-Functional Consultant FICO to join our team and lead end-to-end finance transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial business processes and hands-on experience with both the functional configuration and technical enhancements in SAP FICO, preferably on SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities :

- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze finance and controlling requirements.

- Configure and maintain SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.

- Design and implement enhancements using ABAP (reports, user exits, BADIs, BAPIs).

- Perform integration with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and HCM.

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and troubleshoot system issues.

- Participate in the migration and implementation of SAP S/4HANA systems.

- Develop functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with technical teams.

- Provide support for audit, compliance, and tax reporting requirements.

- Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT) and user training sessions.

- Prepare documentation for processes, configurations, and custom developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience as an SAP FICO techno-functional consultant.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules and integration points.

- Hands-on experience with ABAP debugging and writing technical specs.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance or system conversion projects is a strong plus.

- Understanding of financial reporting, taxation, costing, and compliance requirements.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP FICO certification.

- Experience with SAP Fiori apps in the finance domain.

- Familiarity with tools like SAP BTP, CDS Views, and Smart Forms.

- Exposure to Bank Communication Management (BCM) and Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) is a plus.
