Role Overview :

The SAP Technical Senior Consultant plays a critical role in enabling and optimizing enterprise business processes by designing, developing, and implementing scalable SAP technical solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and global IT teams to deliver high-quality SAP developments aligned with ARaymonds digital transformation roadmap.

The role operates within a matrix organization, encouraging ownership, empowerment, and collaboration across global communities. In line with ARaymonds servant-leadership culture, the role is supported by :

Key Responsibilities :

SAP Technical Development & Solution Design :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows

- Develop and expose OData services to support SAP Fiori applications and third-party UI integrations

- Design, build, and maintain Smart Forms and Adobe Forms for business-critical document generation

- Develop and enhance technical objects aligned with SAP S/4HANA architecture and clean-core principles

SAP Fiori & User Experience :

- Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, CDS views, and OData services

- Collaborate with functional and UX teams to ensure intuitive, performant, and scalable user interfaces

- Optimize backend services to ensure seamless Fiori performance and responsiveness

SAP BTP & Integration :

- Design and implement integrations between on-premise SAP systems and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

- Develop and manage cloud-based extensions and services using SAP BTP capabilities

- Support hybrid and cloud integration scenarios, including APIs, event-driven integrations, and middleware interactions

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Partner with functional consultants to translate business requirements into robust technical designs

- Participate in solution design discussions, technical workshops, and cross-functional reviews

- Act as a technical advisor during project planning, development, testing, and deployment phases

Quality, Performance & Standards :

- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and root-cause analysis to ensure high code quality

- Optimize performance of custom developments in high-volume and business-critical environments

- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, development guidelines, and security standards

Documentation, Knowledge & Change Management :

- Create and maintain detailed technical specifications, design documents, and solution documentation

- Contribute to organizational knowledge through reusable assets, templates, and best practices

- Support training, knowledge transfer, and change management initiatives across global teams

Support & Continuous Improvement :

- Provide technical support during SAP upgrades, patches, and system enhancements

- Analyze impact of SAP releases and recommend improvement opportunities

- Proactively identify opportunities to modernize legacy developments and align with S/4HANA and cloud strategies

Education & Experience :

Qualifications : Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Science

Experience :

- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP technical development

- Proven experience working in multicultural, global environments

- Strong exposure to enterprise-scale SAP implementations and support models
