Position : SAP S/4HANA ABAP Lead Developer

Location : Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Coimbatore

Experience : Minimum 8 years in SAP S/4HANA & ABAP

Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Lead Developer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions in S/4HANA environments.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of S/4HANA technology, expertise in Agile methodology, and strong communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead SAP S/4HANA ABAP development projects and ensure technical solutions align with business requirements.

- Analyze, design, and develop custom RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) for S/4HANA using ABAP on HANA and Core Data Services (CDS).

- Serve as a technical subject matter expert, particularly in the differences between S/4HANA and R/3, and support prescriptive best practices.

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive SAP S/4HANA handbooks and reference material.

- Apply expertise in integration, interface development, and multiplexers within the S/4HANA landscape.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery cycles, contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives as an SAP technology expert.

- Collaborate with functional teams to support Order to Cash (O2C) processes and resolve issues.

- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and technical concepts to stakeholders.

- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development.

- Use dynamic programming techniques as needed for scalable and efficient solutions.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- At least 8 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP development.

- Deep knowledge of S/4HANA technology, including differences with R/3.

- Proven expertise in Agile methodology and technical leadership.

- Excellent skills in designing and developing RICEF objects using ABAP on HANA and CDS.

- Expert-level understanding of interface development and multiplexers in SAP environments.

- Effective communication and coordination abilities.

- Working knowledge of dynamic programming in SAP ABAP.

- Basic functional knowledge in SAP Order to Cash (O2C) processes.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in SAP UI5 and Fiori development.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent proven experience).

- SAP certification in S/4HANA or ABAP is highly desirable.
