SAP Technical Consultant - ABAP Programming

About the Role :

A technical role focused on the backend logic of SAP systems and their connectivity to modern data platforms. You will design, implement, and optimize ABAP programs, SAP data models, and integration points with data platforms like Google BigQuery, ensuring high performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, including OO-ABAP, BAdIs, and User Exits

- Create and optimize SAP Data Models (Tables/CDS views) for data exposure

- Write efficient SQL (OpenSQL and Native SQL) queries for backend data processing

- Support SAP BW extractors and integration with data warehousing workflows

- Assist in scripting for automation using Python or Shell

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for SAP data consumption in GCP/BigQuery pipelines

Key Skills and Qualifications :

- Mastery of SAP ABAP, including OO-ABAP, BAdIs, and User Exits

- Proficiency in SQL: OpenSQL and Native SQL

- Expertise in SAP Data Modelling (Tables/CDS)

- Knowledge of SAP BW extractors and data warehousing concepts

- Basic scripting skills in Python or Shell

- Awareness of GCP, BigQuery, and data pipeline integration

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

- Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams
