- Strong understanding of Central Finance concepts (if applicable to multi-ERP landscapes) and hands-on experience in data archiving and data volume management pre-migration.

BRIM / BRIMM :

- Deep functional knowledge of all BRIM components, including Subscription Order Management (SOM) for contract management, subscription lifecycle, and pricing configuration

- Convergent Charging (CC) for rate plans and charging logic; Convergent Invoicing (CI) for billable item processing, invoice aggregation, and tax calculation integration; FI-CA for contract accounts receivable & payable, dunning, payments, refunds, and sub-ledger reconciliation; and Revenue

- Accounting & Reporting (RAR) for IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliance and event-based revenue recognition.

- Experience implementing hybrid monetization models is also required.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (Direct Transfer, Staging Tables, File Upload) and experience with SAP Data Services (BODS) for ETL.

- Familiarity with SUM/DMO for technical migration paths, ability to work with ABAP developers to extend standard migration objects, and understanding of HANA modeling for BRIM reporting enhancements.

- Strong command of BRIM-specific tables and their relationship to S/4HANA core tables.

Integration Skills :

- Experience in integrating BRIM with CRM (SAP CRM, SAP C4C, Salesforce Service/Sales Cloud), CPQ tools (SAP CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, Apttus), and payment gateways (Adyen, PayPal, Stripe) via SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI.

- Integration with external tax engines (Vertex, Avalara) and ERP systems for consolidated financial reporting (Central Finance, non-SAP ERP) is also important.

- Understanding of real-time vs. batch integration strategies in billing & revenue environments.

Data Migration & Validation :

- Design of data migration strategy, including identifying in-scope data, data cleansing rules, and cutover sequencing.

- Master data expertise in Business Partner conversion from ECC (Customer/Vendor) master, Material master alignment with S/4HANA product models, and pricing condition records migration to BRIM-compatible formats.

- Experience with transactional data migration (open AR, open orders, billing documents, unbilled usage) and post-migration reconciliation and validation (balance reconciliation between ECC and S/4HANA, test billing cycles and invoice outputs for accuracy).

Project Delivery :

- Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology for S/4HANA, execution of Fit-to-Standard workshops, and documenting deviations.

- Development of RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) related to BRIM.

- Creation of testing strategy (SIT, UAT, regression testing for BRIM flows), cutover planning & execution, including parallel billing runs for verification, and hypercare support with a focus on stabilizing BRIM processes post-go-live.

Soft Skills & Leadership :

- Strong executive communication for explaining migration/BRIM decisions to business sponsors, cross-functional leadership to bridge finance, IT, sales, and billing departments.

- Ability to translate technical issues into business impact and vice versa, conflict resolution in cases where legacy processes cannot be migrated 1 : 1, and coaching internal teams to maintain BRIM post-implementation.
