Job Description :
Primary Responsibilities :
Ariba Solution Implementation & Configuration :
- Execute the full lifecycle implementation and ongoing technical support for SAP Ariba On-Demand solutions, ensuring best-practice alignment with organizational procurement strategies.
- Configure and manage the Ariba Buying & Invoicing (Cloud) module, including the specialized setup and continuous refinement of the Guided Buying interface, rules, and logic for optimized user experience.
- Perform and maintain core platform configuration tasks, including defining, customizing, and testing complex workflows, managing end-to-end user provisioning, and executing detailed supplier setup and enablement.
Procurement Process Management :
- Design, create, and update dynamic tiles and catalogs within the Ariba platform to accurately reflect negotiated pricing, product availability, and streamlined procurement processes.
- Provide comprehensive technical support for the critical Purchase Order (PO) and Invoicing processes within Ariba, ensuring data integrity and timely document flow.
- Automate and optimize current procurement processes (e.g., PO generation, invoice reconciliation, approvals) using Ariba functionality to measurably improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Technical Collaboration & Support :
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and IT teams, rigorously adhering to an Agile/Scrum delivery model throughout solution design, configuration, and testing phases.
- Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and propose effective, technical solutions for complex production issues and configuration challenges across the Ariba platform.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical teams (for integration requirements) and business stakeholders (for functional requirements) to ensure successful, compliant solution delivery.
Mandatory Skills :
- SAP Ariba On-Demand Experience : Verifiable experience in the implementation and support of SAP Ariba On-Demand products.
- Buying & Invoicing Expertise : Strong, hands-on expertise in Ariba Buying & Invoicing (Cloud), including in-depth functional and technical knowledge of Guided Buying configuration.
- Core Configuration : Expert ability in configuration skills across key ariba components : customizing approval workflows, granular user management security, and complex supplier setup.
- P2P Processes : Direct, hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting PO and Invoicing processes within the Ariba platform.
- Methodology : Proven ability to work effectively and deliver solutions rapidly in Agile/Scrum teams.
Good to Have (Preferred Skills) :
- Experience with Ariba integration with SAP ERP/S4 HANA systems, specifically understanding data mapping, master data replication (e.g., vendor, material), and transactional data flow (IDocs/APIs).
- Technical knowledge of other Ariba modules, such as Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) or Ariba Contracts.
- Proven Client-facing consulting experience in large-scale, global implementations of Source-to-Pay solutions.
- Familiarity with Ariba Open API usage for external system integration. Certification in SAP Ariba modules.
