Role: SAP UI Spartacus Lead (Frontend) Remote

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP UI Spartacus Lead to drive frontend development for our SAP Commerce Cloud projects. You will lead Angular-based Spartacus storefront development, provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead frontend development using Angular and SAP Spartacus.

- Provide technical leadership and guide development efforts across teams.

- Build user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS).

- Develop and integrate JavaScript applications using TypeScript, jQuery, Ext JS.

- Implement API integrations using OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) and RESTful web services.

- Apply web standards, responsive design, and animations/transitions.

- Collaborate on e-commerce application development.

- Ensure adherence to CI/CD pipelines (familiarity preferred).

- Mentor and support team members in solving complex design problems.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years overall experience in frontend development.

- 2+ years hands-on experience with SAP Spartacus.

- Strong experience with Angular 8+ (Angular 10 or higher preferred).

- TypeScript : 2+ years hands-on experience.

- Solid knowledge of SmartEdit and SSR (Server-Side Rendering).

- API integration experience using OCC.

- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS compilers (LESS/SASS).

- Familiarity with AJAX, JSON, and RESTful web services.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

- Creative approach to solving complex frontend design challenges.

Nice-to-Have :

- Experience in CI/CD systems.

- Prior experience in e-commerce storefronts.
