Role Overview:

As an SAP Security Consultant, you will serve as the primary architect for securing complex SAP environments, ensuring that enterprise data remains protected while maintaining seamless business operations. You will work closely with functional teams, audit departments, and business stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain robust authorization models. Your work directly impacts the organization's risk posture, ensuring that access controls are not only compliant with regulatory standards but also optimized to support the daily productivity of end-users across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement complex SAP security roles and authorization profiles to ensure the principle of least privilege is maintained across the landscape.

- Manage user administration and access provisioning across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and GRC environments to support organizational growth and security compliance.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and implement remediation strategies to protect sensitive business data.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve authorization conflicts and troubleshoot access-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and audit trails to ensure readiness for internal and external compliance reviews.

- Lead the configuration and maintenance of SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) modules to automate access control and mitigate segregation of duties conflicts.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in SAP Security administration, including deep knowledge of PFCG, role design, and user management within S/4HANA and ECC environments.

- Proven ability to manage SAP GRC Access Control, including risk analysis, remediation, and mitigation processes.

- Strong analytical skills to translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable authorization structures.

- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interface with stakeholders, explain technical security risks, and provide clear guidance on compliance standards.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment in Pune, balancing independent technical tasks with team-based project delivery.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 5 - 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security.

- Adaptability to evolving security landscapes and a proactive approach to learning new SAP security technologies and best practices.
