SAP Security Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement SAP Security roles and authorizations in SAP S/4HANA (FIORI, HANA DB, Embedded Analytics, etc.).

- Perform security role design, analysis, and remediation activities.

- Set up and manage user and role administration using SU01, PFCG, SUIM, and related tools.

- Support FIORI tile/catalog/group authorization and integration with backend roles.

- Work on SAP GRC / IAG Access Control modules (ARM, ARA, BRM, EAM) for SoD analysis and access provisioning.

- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews to ensure system integrity.

- Troubleshoot and resolve authorization-related issues for SAP users across modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, etc.).

- Support security migration activities during SAP S/4HANA Upgrade or implementations.

- Collaborate with functional, technical, and audit teams to ensure security design aligns with business requirements and compliance standards.

- Document all security configurations, processes, and procedures.

- Provide support during testing phases (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) and post-go-live.

- Implement security best practices and standards in accordance with ITGC and SOX compliance.

- Stay updated on latest SAP security patches, notes, and innovations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP Security administration and role design.

- At least 1 to 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations with hands-on experience in role design and security setup.

- Strong knowledge of SAP security architecture across various modules (ECC, S/4HANA, FIORI, BW, GRC).

- Experience with SAP FIORI security, catalogs, tiles, groups, and OData services.

- Hands-on experience in SAP GRC / IAG Access Control is a strong plus.

- Familiarity with HANA Database security, especially roles, privileges, and views.

- Proficient in SAP transaction codes related to security : SU01, SUIM, PFCG, ST01, STAUTHTRACE, SU53, etc.

- Knowledge of SoD (Segregation of Duties) concepts and mitigation strategies.

- Good understanding of compliance and audit processes, including ITGC and SOX.

- Ability to analyze and resolve security-related issues independently.
