Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Testing Lead with deep expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and strong capabilities in SAP Testing and Quality Assurance processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing end-to-end SAP SD testing activities, ensuring the highest quality delivery during SAP implementations and support phases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage SAP SD Testing activities across the project lifecycle (SAP S/4 HANA implementation and support).

- Design, create, and implement effective test strategies, plans, and test cases in alignment with business processes.

- Coordinate closely with Business Analysts, ABAP Developers, Functional Analysts, and Automation Teams.

- Validate core SAP functional business process flows and map end-to-end business processes for accurate testing.

- Manage defect life cycle including defect identification, reporting, tracking, and resolution.

- Maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, test data, test scripts, and test reports.

- Utilize test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, etc.) for effective test execution and defect management.

- Ensure compliance with testing best practices, standards, methodologies, and KPIs.

- Mentor, guide, and train testing resources on methodologies, defect management, and best practices.

- Perform effort tracking, reporting, and ensure continuous improvement of testing processes.

- Work closely with the automation team to support functional knowledge transfer for automation scripting.

- Prepare test reports, dashboards, and communicate progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.

- Ensure strong communication and documentation throughout all phases of the project.

Key Skills & Competencies :

- Strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) functional domain and business process flow.

- Proven experience in SAP Testing (L3).

- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA Implementation is highly desirable.

- Proficient in various SDLC models and Testing Life Cycle processes.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Strong documentation and presentation abilities.

- Skilled in using test management tools (HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail, etc.).

- Knowledge of software testing best practices, standards, and metrics.

- Experience in managing and tracking test efforts and KPIs.

- Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of testers.

- Collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.
