SAP SD Test Engineer

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Test Engineer with strong expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) testing to support large-scale SAP transformation and implementation programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of SAP testing methodologies, test management practices, and automation strategies within SAP environments.

This role involves working across complex enterprise SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA migration and transformation projects, ensuring high-quality delivery through structured testing approaches and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and manage end-to-end SAP testing strategies, ensuring alignment with business requirements and project objectives.

- Utilize industry-standard test management tools for test planning, execution tracking, and defect management.

- Identify opportunities for test automation and implement appropriate automation strategies within SAP environments.

- Participate in large-scale SAP SD testing projects, ensuring quality assurance across multiple business processes.

- Support S/4HANA migration and upgrade programs, including testing validation and transition assurance.

- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to validate system workflows and integrations.

- Manage complex testing cycles including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing.

- Provide effort estimations using established testing estimation models and project planning techniques.

- Prepare test reports, risk assessments, and quality metrics for leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 - 10 years of experience in SAP Testing, with strong focus on SAP SD module.

- Hands-on experience with SAP test management tools and defect tracking systems.

- Experience handling large and complex SAP testing programs.

- Strong understanding of where and how test automation can be implemented within SAP landscapes.

- Exposure to S/4HANA migration or transformation projects is mandatory.

- Knowledge of testing estimation models and project delivery frameworks.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven experience managing complex enterprise testing environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to SAP automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, or similar platforms.

- Pre-sales or solutioning experience supporting SAP testing engagements.

- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
