Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) expertise to support implementation, enhancement, and support activities for complex enterprise landscapes. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of SAP SD processes along with hands-on experience in SAP RAR configuration, integration, and revenue recognition scenarios in compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP SD Functional Responsibilities :

- Lead and support SAP SD processes including :

1. Order-to-Cash (O2C)

2. Pricing, Billing, Credit Management

3. Sales Orders, Delivery, Invoicing

4. Returns, Rebates, and Contract-based billing

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

- Configure SAP SD components to meet business needs and ensure seamless integration with FI, MM, and other modules.

- Provide support for SD-related incidents, enhancements, and change requests.

SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting & Reporting) Responsibilities :

- Configure and support SAP RAR for revenue recognition as per IFRS 15 / ASC 606.

- Design and implement :

1. Revenue contracts

2. Performance obligations (POBs)

3. Allocation rules and event-based revenue postings

- Integrate SAP SD with SAP RAR using SDRAR inbound integration.

- Support revenue contract processing, reclassifications, and period-end close activities.

- Collaborate with Finance and Controlling teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting.

Integration & Collaboration :

- Work closely with FI, CO, MM, and CRM teams for end-to-end solution design.

- Support data migration, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), and deployment activities.

- Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, and test scenarios.

- Act as a key point of contact for business users during testing and post-go-live support.

Required Skills & Experience :

Mandatory Skills :

- 8+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience in large-scale enterprise environments.

- Strong, hands-on experience in SAP RAR (configuration, integration, and support).

- Proven experience with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.

- Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.

- Experience integrating SAP SD with SAP FI and SAP RAR.

- Ability to independently handle design, configuration, and issue resolution.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in S/4HANA SD and RAR environments.

- Exposure to BRIM / Subscription Billing (nice to have).

- Experience in contract-based or milestone-based revenue models.

- Knowledge of data migration tools and revenue transition scenarios.

- Prior experience working in global or multi-country implementations.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.

- SAP SD / RAR certification is an added advantage.
