Job Description : Senior SAP SD/CS Functional Consultant

Location : Pune or Nagpur, India

Role : Senior SAP SD/CS Functional Consultant

Employment Type : Full-Time, Quantum Payroll

Shift Timing : 11 : 00 AM to 9 : 00 PM IST

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior SAP SD/CS Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Customer Service (CS) modules, with a specific focus on equipment management, service contracts, and billing processes. This role requires an individual who is not only a functional expert but also a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and collaboration skills. The consultant will be responsible for providing technical and functional support, implementing new solutions, and optimizing existing business processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- SAP SD/CS Expertise : Serve as a subject matter expert for the SAP SD and CS modules, providing functional and technical guidance.

Billing & Invoicing :

- Design, configure, and implement complex billing processes, including different types of billing plans (milestone, periodic, etc.), and intercompany billing.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to billing document creation, pricing, and accounting integration.

- Experience with advanced billing functionalities and integration with other modules like FI/CO.

Adobe Forms :

- Possess a strong understanding of SAP's Adobe Forms technology for the development and maintenance of sales and billing documents (invoices, credit memos, sales orders, etc.).

- Collaborate with ABAP developers to design and deliver customized forms based on business requirements.

Equipment & Service Contract Management :

- Configure and manage core functionalities related to Equipment Master, Serial Numbers, and Functional Locations.

- Establish and maintain equipment hierarchies to accurately represent asset relationships.

- Implement and manage warranty processes, including warranty claims and tracking.

- Configure and support service contracts, including service contract management, maintenance plans, and service orders.

- Strong knowledge of the I-Base (Installed Base) functionality and its integration with service management processes.

PMO Skills :

- Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment.

- Ability to manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.

- Participate in project planning, design sessions, and testing cycles.

- Documentation of business processes, functional specifications, and configuration settings.

Incident Management & Support :

- Provide expert-level support for SAP SD/CS-related incidents and change requests.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., ABAP, Basis, other functional modules) to resolve complex issues.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Experience : 7-10 years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant.

- SAP SD Module : Deep expertise in core SAP SD functionalities including Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Shipping, and Billing.

- SAP CS Module : Proven experience with the Customer Service module, particularly in equipment management and service contracts.

- Billing : Extensive experience in SAP SD billing processes, including configuration and customization of billing plans, invoice creation, and revenue recognition.

- Adobe Forms : Direct hands-on experience with SAP Adobe Forms, including the ability to read technical specifications and collaborate on form development.

Equipment Management :

- Demonstrable expertise in Equipment Master data creation and management.

- Practical experience with Serial Numbers and their role in tracking equipment.

- Configuration and management of Functional Locations and Equipment Hierarchies.

Service & Warranty :

- Strong knowledge of Warranty management processes within SAP.

- Experience with I-Base functionality.

- Configuration of Service Contracts.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Fluency in English is essential.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP SD/CS certification is a plus.

- Experience with S/4HANA is desirable.

- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
