Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior SAP SD Tax Process Expert to act as a process authority for template-driven SAP S/4HANA rollouts, with strong focus on Order-to-Cash (O2C) tax compliance across multiple countries. The role requires deep functional expertise, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate legal tax requirements into scalable SAP templates.

Key Responsibilities :

Process Design & Template Rollouts :

- Act as process expert for SAP SD Tax during template design and global rollouts

- Ensure legal and statutory compliance across country-specific deployments

- Assess impact of template changes on ongoing and future rollouts

Stakeholder Engagement :

- Participate in workshops with process owners, Epic owners, and S/4HANA leads

- Collaborate with regional tax experts and governance teams

- Act as SPOC for SD Tax-related discussions

Tax Requirement Management :

- Gather, analyze, and document country-specific tax and legal requirements for O2C

- Prepare and present tax requirement decks to business and IT stakeholders

- Ensure clarity, traceability, and documentation accuracy

Cross-Functional Coordination :

- Share tax requirements with :

1. Vertex team

2. Foreign Trade (FT) team

3. Global Support (GS) Tax team

- Ensure alignment across teams for compliant development

Validation & Sign-off :

- Review development outputs with GS Tax team

- Present final results to regional tax experts and governance bodies

- Support formal sign-off and closure

Required Skills & Experience :

Must-Have :

- 7+ years of experience in SAP SD with strong Tax focus

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA

- Strong understanding of O2C tax processes

- Experience in template-driven global rollouts
