SAP SD Consultant - Solution Design & Configuration

Role : SAP SD Consultant Job Description:

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Sales & Distribution processes, hands-on configuration experience, and a solid understanding of integration with other SAP modules.

The role involves requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and production support.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Functional & Technical Expertise :

- Configure and support core SAP SD modules: Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Deliveries, Credit Management, and ATP.

- Handle Master Data: Customer master, material master, pricing conditions, output determination, partner functions, etc.

- Design and implement end-to-end SD solutions based on business requirements.

2. Business Requirement Gathering :

- Work with business users to understand functional requirements.

- Convert business needs into functional specifications.

- Drive workshops for AS-IS and TO-BE processes.

3. System Configuration & Implementation :

- Perform SAP SD configuration in line with business processes.

- Develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

- Collaborate with ABAP team for custom developments.

4. Testing & Documentation :

- Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and conduct Unit Testing, SIT & UAT.

- Prepare functional documents, configuration documents, and user manuals.

- Ensure defect resolution within SLA.

5. Integration :

- Work closely with SAP MM, FI, PP, and WM teams for cross-module issues.

- Ensure seamless integration with logistics and financial processes.

6. Support & Maintenance :

- Provide Level 2/3 production support for SAP SD issues.

- Troubleshoot system errors, pricing issues, order processing delays, and billing failures.

- Support month-end and quarter-end business activities.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3 to 8 years of hands-on SAP SD experience.

- Strong knowledge of OTC (Order to Cash) cycle.

- Experience in pricing procedures, tax configuration, and output types.

- Exposure to EDI/IDOC processing.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA (preferred).

- Knowledge of ATP, Credit Management, and Rebates (advantage).

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle pressure.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- SAP SD certification (preferred but not mandatory).
