SAP SD Consultant - MM/OTC Modules

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to provide L2/L3 support for the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process within SAP S/4HANA Public Edition. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP SD module functionality, public cloud configurations, and SAP best practices for value flows and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Root cause analysis

- SAP scope item configuration

- End-user query handling

- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to analyze incidents and deliver timely and high-quality resolutions in line with SLAs.

- Configure and support SAP SD Scope Items using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC).

Handle Change Requests :

- Gather business requirements

- Propose solutions aligned with SAP Public Cloud standards

- Design and document configuration changes

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP SD solutions with other SAP and third-party systems, including BTP-based extensions where required.

- Participate in solution testing (SIT/UAT), defect resolution, and quality assurance processes.

- Ensure documentation of configuration, test scenarios, and change history is maintained as per governance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, MM, BTP, etc.) to resolve complex issues.

- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the support team.

- Stay updated with SAP innovations, best practices, and Public Cloud release upgrades.

Mandatory Skills :

- Expertise in SAP SD configuration, especially in the Order-to-Cash cycle

- Strong knowledge of SAP Value Flows and industry best practices

- Experience with SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC)

- Exposure to SAP BTP is a plus

- Good understanding of support processes (ITSM) and tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or Solution Manager

- Excellent communication and coordination skills

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Desirable Skills :

- Experience in cloud release management cycles and handling public cloud delta changes

- Familiarity with integrations with SAP FI, MM, and third-party logistics/billing systems

- Experience working in Agile or ITIL-based support models

Education & Certifications :

- SAP SD Certification (preferred)

- Certifications in S/4HANA Public Cloud or SAP Activate Methodology will be an advantage
