SAP S/4HANA/ABAP Developer - CDS View

Job Title : SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer

Experience : 6 to 9 Years

Location : Bangalore, Pune, Coimbatore, Hyderabad

Availability : Immediate Joiners Preferred

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain custom applications in SAP S/4HANA using ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and RICEF components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

- Collaborate with functional consultants to gather and analyze business requirements, especially in the O2C process area.

- Leverage ABAP on HANA features such as code pushdown and optimized data modeling for performance-efficient development.

- Design and implement UI5/Fiori applications, including both frontend logic and backend OData services.

- Build and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData services; understand integration patterns including multiplexers.

- Apply dynamic programming and modular design principles for flexible, reusable components.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, story estimation, development, and demos.

- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and performance tuning.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills :

- Proficient in SAP ABAP including Object-Oriented ABAP.

- Strong hands-on experience with S/4HANA development, especially ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP.

- Experience in building RICEF objects with a focus on maintainability and performance.

- Solid understanding of SAP O2C processes and integration with functional modules.

- Development experience with UI5/Fiori applications.

- Knowledge of interface development using IDOC, BAPI, RFC, and OData services.

- Understanding of multiplexers and SAP integration patterns.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and functional teams.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology and tools.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)

- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines within the SAP ecosystem
