SAP S/4 HANA MM Consultant

Job Title : SAP S/4 HANA MM Consultant Production Support

Location : Chennai

Work Type : Hybrid

Position Description :

- Handle incident management, problem management, and change requests in production environments.

- Support and troubleshoot Indirect Purchasing processes including :

a. Purchase Requisitions (PR)

b. Purchase Orders (PO)

c. Service Procurement

d. Vendor Management

e. Invoice Verification (MIRO)

- Analyze and resolve issues related to MM master data (Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, Source Lists).

- Work closely with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to resolve issues within SLA.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.

- Support enhancements, minor configurations, and testing as part of change requests.

- Assist in month-end / year-end activities, audits, and compliance requirements.

- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

- Participate in incident bridge calls and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP MM.

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA MM Production Support.

- Proven experience in Indirect Purchasing processes.

- Good understanding of :

a. Procurement lifecycle

b. Account assignment

c. Release strategies

d. Pricing procedures

e. Experience working with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).

f. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

g. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

Good to Have / Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA migration or implementation projects.

- Knowledge of integration with FI, SD, and WM/EWM modules.

- Experience in supporting audits and compliance activities.

- SAP MM or S/4 HANA certification is an added advantage.

Education :

- Bachelors Degree (Any discipline)
