Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Lead Functional SAP S/4HANA Record-to-Report (R2R) Specialist to drive the implementation, configuration, and optimization of financial processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment. This lead role requires deep expertise in the end-to-end R2R cycle, advanced configuration skills in SAP FICO, proven ability to handle complex system integrations, and strong leadership to guide project teams and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus :

SAP S/4HANA R2R Expertise :

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of all core Record-to-Report (R2R) processes in SAP S/4HANA, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).

- Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) features, including the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), new Asset Accounting, Central Finance, and integration with operational modules (SD, MM, PP).

- Configure and optimize advanced financial closing processes, consolidation activities, and external reporting functionalities (e.g., IFRS/GAAP requirements).

System Configuration and Optimization :

- Perform expert-level configuration of SAP FICO modules to align with complex business requirements, particularly focusing on optimizing financial master data, document splitting, and parallel valuation ledgers.

- Implement and configure Cash Management, Treasury, and Banking integration within S/4HANA.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues between S/4HANA and peripheral systems using modern integration tools and techniques.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary Functional Lead, guiding the project team through blueprinting, realization, and go-live phases for the R2R track.

- Conduct detailed business process analysis and fit-gap workshops with key finance stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and system solutions.

- Prepare and execute system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies, ensuring quality assurance across all R2R functionalities.

Reporting and Compliance :

- Develop and configure advanced management and financial reporting solutions using native S/4HANA tools (e.g., Fiori apps, Embedded Analytics, CDS Views) to provide real-time insights.

- Ensure all financial configurations and processes adhere to regulatory compliance standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.

- Provide expert guidance on best practices for data migration (LSMW, LTMC) and data governance related to financial master data.

Preferred Skills :

- Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or an advanced module (e.g., Controlling, Central Finance).

- Extensive experience with SAP Activate methodology in recent S/4HANA implementation projects.

- Strong functional and technical proficiency in Controlling (CO), including Product Costing (CO-PC), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and internal order settlement.

- Experience with Glider Assessment or similar rigorous technical evaluation tools.

- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) solutions integrated with S/4HANA (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud - SAC).
