We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive SAP Roles & Authorizations Specialist to join our SAP Platforms Unit. This role is pivotal in empowering our company's digital ecosystem by ensuring stable, agile, scalable, and secure platforms. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development, access management, and security guardrail establishment for SAP Roles and Authorizations across a diverse SAP landscape, with a strong focus on risk assessment and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaboration & Requirements Management :

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, various business areas, and external suppliers to understand and define security requirements.

- Analyze and interpret business requirements to define scope and plan deliverables for SAP roles and authorizations (R&A).

Role Design & Development :

- Design and develop SAP roles and authorizations in close collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring strict adherence to existing processes and security standards.

- Develop and maintain R&A across a wide array of SAP platforms, including ECC/S4, EWM/S4, CAR, BW, GTS, CRM, MDG, Solution Manager, HANA DB, Fiori, and SAP Cloud solutions.

Risk Management & Compliance :

- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, including Segregation of Duties (SoD), GDPR compliance checks, and sensitive access reviews.

- Drive and manage all R&A-related activities, including role orderability, to ensure seamless access

management.

- Establish clear security guardrails to maintain platform integrity and compliance.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Perform rigorous unit testing for all developed roles and authorizations.

- Provide essential support during system, integration, and acceptance testing phases.

Continuous Improvement & Issue Resolution :

- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve complex R&A issues.

- Promote and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements within the R&A domain.

Required Technical Competencies :

- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a background in agile development environments.

- Strong consulting skills with the ability to provide expert advisory support on SAP security.

- Deep expertise in SAP standard Authorization concepts and adherence to SAP Best Practices.

- Solid understanding of authorization risks, including SoD (Segregation of Duties), GDPR, and sensitive

access considerations.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 tools.

- Experience working in large, global organizations.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with SAP GRC tools.

- Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira Cloud and Confluence.

- Experience in the Retail industry.

- Background in IT Security and Security Frameworks.

- Knowledge of System Security principles.

- SAFe certification is a plus.
